Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Yellowhead County has issued a wildfire alert for Wildwood.

The wildfire north of Highway 16 near Wildwood and Lobstick is expected to change directions and move south toward Wildwood today. Everyone in the Hamlet of Wildwood must prepare to evacuate now. No evacuation is required yet, but an Evacuation Order is expected today.

• Yellowhead County

Action to take:

• If you are in Wildwood, prepare for a possible evacuation
• Gather important documents, medication, and enough food and water to be away from home for at least 3 days
• People evacuating or needing information can call 1-833-334-4630
• Take pets with you
• Stay tuned to local media, or go to www.facebook.com/yellowheadcounty or yhcounty.ca for updates
