Due to the recent wildfire in the County of Northern Lights, and the present hot and windy conditions, the county is advising everyone north of Township Rd. 915, also referred to as 7th Ave., to Twin Lakes Campground and as far east as the Notikewin River must be prepared to evacuate on short notice.

As check www.wildfire.alberta.ca for up to date wildfire information and down load the AEA Mobile App for notification also.

Action to take:

• Everyone north of Township Rd
• 915 north to Twin Lakes Campground and as far east as the Notikewin River must be prepared to evacuate on short notice
• The public in this area should ensure their vehicles are fueled, and they have all personal documentation, and needed items if an evacuation happens
• Go to County website and Facebook page for a map of the area and listen to local media for updates
