Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert West of Edson near Marlboro Updated
Residents are allowed back into the area but will remain on evacuation alert notice and may need to evacuate again in a short period of time if the fire situation changes.
Residents in the area will remain on evacuation alert notice and able to stay at their residences overnight. Dozer guard is 100% around fire in order to help prevent the spread of the fire outside the contained area. Heavy equipment and wildfire firefighters are still working on site and will be on site starting early in the morning. The Yellowhead County Emergency Operations Centre and evacuee information number (1-833-334-4630) will be stood down at 6:00 PM tonight and will start up again at 8:00 AM tomorrow morning.
