Description: There is a large amount of snow melt water travelling across land. This is leading to localized flooding, water flowing over and eroding roadways. Travel through low areas may be hazardous.

Last updated 08:20 April 24, 2018 This is an update and the hazard will not be mitigated in the short term. There is overland flooding occuring within the County. Over 65 roads have been closed and many others have been compromised. Do not bypass or move barricades or travel through water covered roads as there may be unforeseen hazards. Operations staff are working hard to reopen roads. Please call 403-867-3940 if you require asssistance or if you find an unmarked hazard. Road closure locations and further updates are posted on the County Web Site as they become available.

Instruction: Take all necessary precautions. Follow the directions of local authorities. Do not travel through water covered roads. Avoid the area. Listen for further updates and follow the instructions that apply to your area.
