Description: Alberta Emergency Alert: Overland Flow Flood Alert

Melting snow throughout Greenview has caused flooding in some areas of the municipality. Areas affected include New Fish Creek, Sunset House, Sweathouse, Little Smoky, Ridgevalley and Puskwaskau. Rural roads north and south of the Town of Valleyview are also impacted. Signage and barricades have been installed on the affected roads.

Action to take:

• Use alternate routes and obey posted signs
• Do not attempt to drive across roads that are covered in water
• Sections of the road may be washed out and erosion may not be visible
• Listen for further updates and follow the instructions that apply to your area.
