The fire is out, but Cypress County Emergency Services and fire crews remain in the Hilda and Schuler area monitoring for hot spots and flare ups. Utility companies are in the area restoring electricity.

Within Cypress County, Highway 41 north is open to traffic in both directions. For more road information on the rest of Highway 41 further north, please go to Alberta Transportation's 511 Road Report website. Affected residents and property owners are advised that they may now return. However, it is undetermined as to when electricity will be fully restored in certain areas. Delays are to be expected in certain locations.
