Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert In The Hilda Area Of Cypress County Updated
The wildfire has been put out in the Hilda and Schuler areas of Cypress County. Cypress County Emergency Services and fire crews are still in the area, and on scene.
Within Cypress County, Highway 41 north is open to traffic in both directions. Various electric and gas utility companies are currently working to ensure that the affected area is safe. When it is safe to do so, the County will announce when the evacuated residents may return to their homes. For more traffic information, please go to Alberta Transportation's 511 Road Report website.
