Through its participation in the Canada Strong Pass, Alberta’s government is once again helping families, youth and visitors enjoy summer experiences at a reasonable price with free and discounted admission to all provincial museums and historic sites.
During the program period, general admission to Alberta museums and historic sites will be free for children and teens aged 17 and under and half-price for young adults aged 18-24. There’s also no limit on visits, so guests can return as often as they like during the program period, making it easier than ever to learn about Alberta’s history and culture.
“Alberta’s museums and historic sites bring history to life. Through the Canada Strong Pass, our government is making it easier than ever for families and young people to explore Alberta’s heritage and celebrate exactly what makes our province so special.”
Alberta’s participation in the Canada Strong Pass invites both Albertans and out-of-province visitors alike to experience everything our province has to offer, from world-class museums to historic sites spanning from Historic Dunvegan in the north to the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre in the south.
Through hands-on exhibits, special events and seasonal programming, Alberta’s museums and historic sites offer engaging experiences that support learning and ensure more people connect with and take pride in the story of our province.
“We’re pleased to take part in the Canada Strong Pass again this year, welcoming more families and young people to the Royal Alberta Museum with free or discounted admission and opportunities to explore Alberta’s rich and diverse stories.”
“Museums allow us to discover what brings us together: our history, our creativity, our perspectives and the stories that shape Canada. With the Canada Strong Pass, even more Canadians will be able to enjoy cultural experiences across the country, while saving money.”
The Canada Strong Pass is not a physical or digital pass that visitors need to present or download. Instead, the benefits are automatically applied to all eligible guests during the program period.
