Minister Loewen will showcase Alberta’s wood products while in Japan and South Korea from Nov. 9 to 14, focusing on expanding exports and trade relationships. The trade mission will reinforce Alberta’s commitment to expanding markets for forest products.
Through site visits, industry forums and networking events, Minister Loewen will demonstrate Alberta’s record as a reliable supplier and strengthen relationships with long-standing partners and customers across the region.

To maximize impact for western Canadian manufacturers, the mission will be held in partnership with the Alberta Forest Products Association, Canada Wood Group, the Wood Pellet Association of Canada, the Government of British Columbia and British Columbia’s Forestry Innovation Investment
