Alberta’s government is working to expand the province’s global economic footprint by showcasing its strengths in trade, innovation, and tourism. Minister Schow, along with representatives from Travel Alberta and Alberta’s business community, will meet with Mexican industry leaders and officials to explore opportunities for economic partnerships and tourism promotion. This mission coincides with the launch of a new WestJet direct flight from Mexico City to Calgary, enhancing Alberta’s accessibility for both business and leisure travel.

“There’s something for everyone in Alberta, whether you’re looking to build partnerships, discover unmatched investment opportunities, or explore our beautiful vistas and vibrant cities. I’m excited to show Mexico what Alberta has to offer.”

Joseph Schow, Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration

Minister Schow will be joined by one staff member. Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page. Industry leaders’ expenses will be paid by their respective organizations.
