Premier Rachel Notley will travel to New York City this Sept. 18-20 to promote Alberta's Climate Leadership Plan to global leaders, and meet with investors and business leaders.

During her mission, the Premier will:
“Growing and diversifying our economy in step with our Climate Leadership Plan presents an opportunity to invest in new technologies that will create jobs and reduce emissions. People from across North America, including President Obama, have recognized that Alberta is reducing emissions while promoting growth. As Albertans, we know that our expertise in responsible, innovative energy production is as valuable as any of our resources.”
Climate Week NYC 2016 gathers leaders from business and government to demonstrate how investment in innovation, technology and clean energy can enhance economic opportunity.
The estimated international mission cost for the Premier, three political staff, three public servants and two protection unit members, is $39,500.
