Starting Sept. 27, Minister Schow will meet with government and industry leaders to strengthen economic ties and create new opportunities for Alberta businesses. The mission will showcase Alberta’s competitive business environment, skilled workforce, world-class innovation and resources that support long-term growth and investment.

While in Mexico, Minister Schow will attend the North Capital Forum (NCF). This premier trade and investment event will bring together industry leaders and government officials from Canada, Mexico and the United States to advance regional cooperation and strengthen North American competitiveness. Representatives from more than 30 Canadian companies and entities are participating in NCF.

While in Texas, Minister Schow will meet with defence and aerospace stakeholders, promoting Alberta as a competitive destination for defence investment.

Alberta’s government works with national and international partners to help Alberta businesses access new markets, attract investment and build resilient global trade relationships. Government-led trade missions play a key role in supporting export diversification and positioning Alberta companies for success on the world stage.
