While in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Minister Glubish will meet with leading government and private sector organizations, such as the Cyber Security Council and the Technology and Innovation Institute to:
- Gain a deeper understanding of the UAE's advanced AI and health innovation ecosystems.
- Promote Alberta’s technology and innovation strengths.
- Explore collaboration and investment opportunities.
Site visits to leading AI organizations M42 and G42's will provide critical insights into sovereign data strategies and AI applications in health care, aligning with Alberta’s priorities in digital transformation and precision medicine. In addition, meetings with the Canada-UAE Business Council and the Canadian Consulate will strengthen Alberta’s global trade relationships and attract investment in emerging technologies, directly supporting economic diversification and innovation-led growth.

By engaging with top international technology and health organizations, Alberta’s government is strengthening global partnerships, creating new investment opportunities and helping ensure Alberta remains at the forefront of emerging technologies and international collaboration.
Minister Glubish will be accompanied by one staff member, along with two department representatives. They will depart for Abu Dhabi, UAE on Dec. 12, returning on Dec. 18.
