On July 12, 2018, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, ASIRT was directed to investigate a Calgary Police Service officer-involved shooting causing injury. ASIRT’s investigation is now complete.

On Oct. 3, 2018, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, ASIRT was directed to investigate a death following an interaction with a Lethbridge Police Service officer. ASIRT’s investigation is now complete.

On Sept. 22, 2020, pursuant to Sec. 46.1 of the Police Act, ASIRT was directed to investigate a discharge from a firearm causing injury at a Lethbridge Police Service range. ASIRT’s investigation is now complete.
