Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Beaver Emergency Services Commission and Town of Tofield have updated a flood alert.

Overland flooding continues to affect the region, with pumping and roadwork ongoing. Roads in Tofield currently closed are 52st street between 51 and 52 ave, and 51 st from 46 ave to 51 ave, 56st/RR 191 from 53 ave to twp 512.

Area: This alert is in effect for the Town of Tofield and Beaver County from HWY 857 to the west borders of Beaver County.

Affected areas (1):

• Beaver County

Action to take:

• Everyone in Tofield must continue reducing all non-essential water use
• Conserve water while washing dishes, doing laundry, showering, and other unnecessary water consumption
• Motorists are advised to check Alberta 511 for closures and conditions
• Respect crews and signage
