Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has updated a Flood alert.
The ice jam causing water levels to rise on the Clearwater River is still in place. Low-lying areas in the community of Draper could experience overland flooding.
Area: This alert is in effect for the Community of Draper in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
Affected areas (1):
- Wood Buffalo
Action to take:
- Everyone in the impacted area must prepare for a possible evacuation
- Residents in Draper are not required to leave at this time
- Avoid the river area
