Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The M D of Lesser Slave River has issued a Wildfire alert.

Be prepared to evacuate within 4 hours of notification, in case an evacuation of the community is required. Wildfire SWF088 burning north of the community is still out of control. Lesser Slave Fire Department has added two crews for structural protection in the Hamlet of Marten Beach.

Area: This alert is in effect for everyone in the M D of Lesser Slave River located in the Hamlet of Marten Beach.

• Lesser Slave River No.124

Action to take:

• If you are located in Marten Beach you must prepare for a possible evacuation
• Gather important documents, pets, medication, and enough food and water to be away from home for at least 3 days
• NO EVACUATION IS REQUIRED AT THIS TIME
