Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Kee Tas Kee Now Tribal Council has issued a mandatory evacuation order due to wildfire.

Peerless Trout First Nation has issued a mandatory evacuation order. There are a number of wildfires in the area that may affect access in and out of the community.

Area: The alert is for the communities of Peerless Lake and Trout Lake.

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Everyone in Peerless Lake and Trout Lake must evacuate now
• Gather all pets, important documents, medication and clothing items to last enough for 3 days
• Evacuate to the Legacy Center in Slave Lake as a check point and for directions to hotels in Edmonton
• Busses are available
• Call 780-649-5583 if you need transportation
• Gas is available for community members
• If gas is needed please call 780-260-0251
