There are a number of wildfires in the area and may affect access in and out of the community. Peerless Trout First Nation is issuing a mandatory evacuation order.

Area: The alert is for the communities of Peerless Lake and Trout Lake

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Gather all pets, important documents, medication and clothing items to last enough for 3 days
• Evacuate to the Legacy Center in Slave Lake as a check point and directions to hotels in Edmonton
• Busses are available and call 780-649-5583 if you need transportation
• Gas is available for community members if needed please call 780-260-0251
