Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sturgeon County has expanded its Wildfire Evacuation Order.

The evacuations are a result of the wildfire burning near the Redwater Rec Area.

Area: The evacuation order has been extended from Township Road 580 south to the North Saskatchewan River between Range Road 213 East to Range Road 203. Everyone in this area must evacuate immediately. See map for details.

• Thorhild County No. 7
• Sturgeon County

Action to take:

• Go to the Reception Centre at the Morinville Leisure Centre at 25126 Secondary Highway 642.Residents in the surrounding area must prepare for a possible evacuation
