There is a wildfire 10 kms north of Highway 58.

Area: This alert is still in effect for everyone in Garden River.

Affected areas (2):

• Mackenzie No. 23
• Improvement District No. 24

Action to take:

• If you are in the Garden River area prepare for a possible evacuation
• You will have 12 hours notice before you have to evacuate
• Fuel your vehicles, gather important documents, medication, and pack some food and water
• No evacuation is required at this time
• Stay tuned to local media for updates as they become available
