There is a wildfire 10 km north of Highway 58.

Area: This alert is in effect for Garden River.

Affected areas (2):

• Mackenzie No. 23
• Improvement District No. 24

Action to take:

• Garden River is on an evacuation order as of 12:00pm July 10, 2024
• Make your way to the Horizon Camp at John D’or Prairie, Alberta, in a safe and calm manner
• Support will be available in John D’or Prairie
• Bring medications for multiple days and important documents

• Garden River is not in any immediate danger; however, the Highway 58 access to Garden River is the concern
