Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Peace No. 135 has updated it’s wildfire alert.
There is a wildfire burning southeast of Township Road 830, about 1 km north of the River, burning northwest.
Area: This Evacuation Order remains in effect for everyone from Township Road 830, south to the Peace River, and from Highway 684, east to the Peace River, in the MD of Peace No. 135.
Affected areas (1):
- Peace No. 135
Action to take:
- Everyone in the area of Township Road 830, south to the Peace River, and from Highway 684, east to the Peace River, in the MD of Peace must evacuate immediately
- Evacuate to Grimshaw
- Register at the Legion, at 5011 49 Ave
- Bring pets, important documents and medication for at least 3 days
- If you need help, call 780.338.3845
- Everyone else in the MD must prepare for a possible evacuation on short notice, especially those near this fire
