Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The MD of Peace No. 135 has updated it’s wildfire alert.

There is a wildfire burning southeast of the intersection, moving northwest toward the impacted area.

Affected areas (2):

• Peace No. 135
• Birch Hills County

Action to take:

• Everyone within 5 km of the intersection of Township Road 830 and Range Road 231, in the MD of Peace must evacuate immediately
• Gather pets, important documents and medication for at least 3 days
• Everyone must evacuate to Grimshaw and register at the Legion, at 5011 49 Ave, to register
• If you need help evacuating, call the M D of Peace office at 780.338.3845
