Description: Severe thunderstorm warning in effect
At 6:12 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time Wednesday, Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for South Central Alberta. Extra care and attention should be exercised in and around the following localities: Wolf Lake, Cynthia, Brazeau Dam, O'Chiese and Sunchild. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a very dangerous thunderstorm capable of producing very strong wind gusts, up to baseball size hail and heavy rain.
Area: Yellowhead Co. near Minnow and Wolf Lakes and Elk River

- Clearwater County
- O'Chiese 203
- Sunchild 202
- Brazeau County
Action to take:
- Take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches
- Intense lightning is likely and tornados are possible with any thunderstorm that develops
