Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation has updated their Wildfire Alert.
Re-entry has not begun for Area 4. Utilities have not been fully repaired in Area 4 and it is still unsafe to return. Attached is a map of the phased re-entry for Areas 1 through 4.
Area: The partial Evacuation Order remains in place for Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation.
Affected areas (2):
- Sturgeon Lake 154A
- Sturgeon Lake 154
Action to take:
- Areas 1, 2 and 3 can continue returning home
- Do not return to Area 4 until SLCN announces it’s opening
- This alert will be updated when Area 4 is available and open for re-entry
- Stay tuned to Alberta Emergency Alert and officials from SLCN for updates
