Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Chipewyan Lake Evacuation Order due to wildfire remains in effect.

The community of Chipewyan Lake and surrounding area has issued an evacuation order. Everyone in the affected area must remain evacuated.

Area: This alert is in effect for the community of Chipewyan Lake and surrounding area in the MD of Opportunity.

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Evacuees must report to the Lakeview Sports Center in Wabasca to register
• If you require transportation, there are buses at the Chipewyan Lake Shop
• If you require transportation to the shop please call 780-773 -9783
• Bring pets, important documents, medication, and enough food, water, and supplies for 7 days
• Follow the directions of local authorities
