Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Chipewyan Lake has issued an Evacuation Order due to wildfire.

The community of Chipewyan Lake and surrounding area has issued an evacuation order. Everyone in the effected area must evacuate immediately.

Affected areas (1):

• Opportunity No. 17

Action to take:

• Evacuees must report to the Lakeview Sports Center in Wabasca to register
• If you require transportation, there are buses at the Chipewyan Lake Shop
• If you require transportation to the shop please call 780-773 -9783
• Bring pets, important documents, medication, and enough food, water, and supplies for 7 days
• Follow the directions of local authorities.
