Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. The Sucker Creek First Nation is issuing a Wildfire Alert.

There is a wildfire burning in the proximity of Sucker Creek First Nation. This fire of concern is still west of east prairie road - Highway 749. All community members are on evacuation alert and should be prepared to evacuate with 1-hour notice.

Affected areas (1):

• Sucker Creek 150A

Action to take:

• Prepare to evacuate
• Pack important documents, medication, food, water and supplies for at least three days
• Prepare your pets
• This alert will be updated if an Evacuation Order is required
• All members should follow the direction of Chief and Council and their appointed emergency management team members.
