Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Sucker Creek First Nation is updating a Wildfire Alert.

There is a wildfire burning near Sucker Creek First Nation. The fire stayed west of East Prairie road. All community members need to continue our evacuation alert status and should remain prepared to evacuate with 1-hour notice.

Area: This alert remains in effect for Sucker Creek First Nation.

Affected areas (1):

• Sucker Creek 150A

Action to take:

• Prepare to evacuate by gathering important documents, medication, food, water and supplies for at least three days
• Prepare your pets
• This alert will be updated if an Evacuation Order is required
• All members should follow the direction of Chief and Council and their appointed emergency management team members
