Area: This alert is no longer in effect for High Prairie.

Description: Crews are still working on the wildfire southeast of the Town of High Prairie.

Instruction: Everyone in High Prairie must stay prepared to evacuate within a maximum of 4 hours. If the situation changes, another Alberta Emergency Alert will be issued to ensure you remain updated on this rapidly changing wildfire situation. Gather pets, important documents and medication, and enough food, water, and supplies for at least 3 days. Citizens are to monitor www.biglakescounty.ca, the Big Lakes County Facebook page, and the Alberta Emergency Alert website for additional information.
