Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Big Lakes County has expanded the Evacuation Area due to Wildfire.

A wildfire is moving west through the Gilwood area.

Affected areas (2):

• Big Lakes
• High Prairie

Action to take:

• Everyone in in the impacted area must evacuate now
• Everyone else must be prepared to evacuate on short notice
• Check the map on attached to this alert and the AEA App to confirm if you must evacuate
• Bring pets, important documents and medication, and enough food, water, and supplies for at least 3 days
• Go to the County website and Facebook page for info.
