Description: This is an Alberta Emergency Alert. Big Lakes County is issuing a Wildfire Alert.

A wildfire is moving west through the Gilwood area.

Area: This alert is in effect for Big Lakes County Residents In the area: North of Township Road 734 and east of Range Road 183 to Highway 749, west of Highway 749 & north of Township road 740 and west of Range Road 175.

Affected areas (1):

• Big Lakes

Action to take:

• Since there is potential danger to life and health, if you are in the affected area, you must PREPARE to evacuate with 60 minutes notice
• Gather pets, important documents and medication, and enough food, water, and supplies for at least 3 days
• This alert will be updated if an evacuation is required
