Area: Canmore
Description: There is a boil water advisory in place for the Town of Canmore.
The Boil Water Advisory has been lifted for Area 1 – Cougar Creek. The Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for the remainder of the municipal distribution system. Visit canmore.ca/municipal-services/emergency-services/emergency-management/emergency-alerts for an interactive map of all areas that remain under a Boil Water Advisory, identified in red. The Town of Canmore and EPCOR have mobilized mobile potable water units to provide safe drinking water The units will be available at select areas of Canmore until the advisory is lifted. Please be advised that until the boil water order is lifted you may temporarily experience little to no water pressure as we work to flush and test the system to restore regular water service. Residents may see water flowing from hydrants as we continue to flush and test the distribution system.
Instruction: Boil your water for at least one minute at a full boil before drinking or using the water for any kind of internal consumption.
