Description: Evacuation Order and State of Local Emergency is Rescinded for the Hamlet of Watino Effective 10:15 PM July 4, 2020 Smoky River Road north of RR782RR243 remains closed due to a washout and RR243 & TWP780.5 are closed and still under water. The Water Level has receded over the past 24 hours but the Smoky River remains high and fast and banks are unstable in many places.
Residents may return to their Homes, but must take precautions as listed below.
Instruction: Stay several metres away from the rivers edge. Watch for further erosion of river banks and roads. Obey all traffic controls and barricades and stay out of closed areas. Listen for further updates and follow the instructions that apply to your area.
