Description: Completion of the removal of the impacted bridge and machinery from the waterway is now complete. Alberta Environment and Parks remains on scene for spill mitigation and environmental clean-up is underway.
The bridge on Range Road 81, north of Township Road 574, has been removed and a portion of the road is now closed until further notice with Detours in place until the bridge is replaced. Environmental clean-up in under way at this time. Landowners downstream from the event should not utilize waters for livestock or other uses until clean-up has been completed.
Instruction: Detours are as follows: To access Range Road 81 past the closed bridge, travel east on Township Road 574 to Range Road 80 north to Township Road 580 and west to Range Road 81 south, or travel west on Township Road 574 to Range Road 82 north to Township Road 580 and east to Range Road 81 south.
