Description: Alberta Emergency Alert: Overland Flow Flood Alert
A Spring Runoff Advisory has been issued by the Alberta River Forecast Centre for Lac Ste. Anne County. High water levels are occurring throughout the County at this time.
Lac Ste. Anne County is experiencing high water levels throughout all areas of the County. Residents and the travelling public may encounter high water levels in roadside ditches, and water encroaching or crossing roadways. The County has been actively steaming blocked culverts, and continues to respond to other areas of concern, to assist in the release of water to reduce hazardous conditions and prevent damage to roadway infrastructure as quickly as possible.

Action to take:
- Be aware of areas known to flood easily such as rivers, streams and other low-lying areas
- Take all necessary precautions and do not attempt to drive through water on roadways as it is unsafe to do so at any time and at any speed as doing so can be extremely dangerous
- Follow the directions of local authorities
- Listen for further updates and follow the instructions that apply to your area
