Description: Wildfire activity continues to threaten parts of Mackenzie County and those in the following areas remain on evacuation alert. The areas are west of Range Road 154, north of Highway 697 to south of Township Road 1050, including the La Crete Ferry Campground and the area west of Range Road 151, north of Township Road 1050, south of Township Road 1070 including the Hamlet of La Crete.
This alert is to allow you time to prepare for potential evacuation. You are not required to evacuate at this time. Please share this message and tell your neighbours and friends, particularly those without access to the internet or news. Instruction: Fuel your vehicle, gather important documents like identification and insurance, and prepare any food and water you need. Start planning for any livestock needs as well to ensure they have feed and water. If an evacuation order is issued, please bring your medication, blankets, sleeping bags, personal items and supplies for kids and pets.
