Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert Updated

The Dene Tha’ First Nation’s Bushe River, and Beaver First Nation’s Child Lake, & Boyer River reserves remain evacuated, and the public must stay out of these areas. The evacuation order is lifted for the area of Rocky Lane and the rural High Level area north of the Peace River, west of Range Rd. 150, south of Highway 58 and south and southeast of High Level, and the public can return to this area.

Everyone returning back to the area of Rocky Lane and the rural High Level area must be prepared to evacuate on short notice and should continue to monitor the Mackenzie County Facebook page due to wildfire activity in the area. The Hamlet of La Crete, and the rural area outside the hamlet, north and south of Highway 697, east of Range Rd. 150, south of the Peace River must be prepared to evacuate on short notice and they should continue to monitor the Mackenzie County Facebook page for more information. Action to take:

  • The Dene Tha’ First Nation’s Bushe River, and Beaver First Nation’s Child Lake, and Boyer River reserves remain evacuated and these areas are not safe and the public must stay out of these areas
  • Anyone returning to the Rocky Lane and rural High Level area must be prepared to evacuate on short notice
