Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Wildfire Alert
The Municipal District of Lesser Slave River has declared a Local State of Emergency at 11:22 a.m. due to advancing wildfires in the Marten Hills. The Hamlet of Marten Beach is now to be evacuated immediately. Take Highway 88 south and please register at the Slave Lake Legacy Centre. If you are physically unable to evacuate, call 9 1 1.
