There is an incident that has affected telephone and cell phone communications in the area surrounding the Hamlet of Sangudo. The disruption of service extends approximately ten kilometres into the surrounding area.

Severe damages have occurred to the telephone and cell phone communication system in the area of the Hamlet of Sangudo, up to a ten kilometre radius. The ability to call for emergency services through 9 1 1 will be compromised. The repairs are estimated to take several days before full restoration of services.

Action to take:

• Telephones are not in service in the area of Sangudo and a ten kilometre radius surrounding the Hamlet
• There is no land line capability and cell phone service is extremely compromised
• Lac Ste
• Anne County Administrative buildings are without telephone services in the affected area
• Limit usage to emergencies
• Telus is actively working to repair damages that will take several days.
