Description: A wildfire continues to burn approximately 15 km south west of Bragg Creek in Kananaskis Country. This fire is now classified as being held. The size of this fire remains at approximately 60 hectares.
Heavy ground smoke may continue to affect areas to the east of the fire, including along Highway #762, between Highway #549 and Highway #22. Please use caution if driving in this area. Voluntary Evacuations in the extreme west portion of the MD of Foothills have been cancelled at this time. Instruction: Visibility may be affected due to heavy ground smoke in the area of Highway #762 between Highway #549 and Highway #22. McLean Creek and West Fisher Roads remain closed at this time. Take all necessary precautions and follow the directions of local authorities.
