Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Winter Storm Alert + Hwy 599 Closure east of Castor Cancelled
Heavy snowfall yesterday combined with blowing conditions created hazardous conditions for driving. Hwy 599 is now passable but not completely plowed.
Hwy 599 east of Castor marginal at best. County forces have opened up some local roads that may be able to detour. RR123 and RR131 south from 599 to hwy 12 are open.
