Following a summer storm that passed over the Grande Prairie area this evening, emergency crews have received numerous calls for service primarily relating to flooding. First responders are attending all calls and assessing for eminent danger.

For non-emergent assistance, please call the City after hours phone line at 780-532-4519.

Action to take:

• Use caution when approaching flooded areas
• Avoid storm ponds, Bear Creek, and low lying areas.
