Description: Alberta Emergency Alert - Industrial Fire Alert
There is a serious fire affecting a CN trestle bridge within the north west portion of Town of Mayerthorpe on or about 1:30 p.m.
Fire departments are on site along with CN Rail personnel. Kreek's Krossing trailer court and Mayerthorpe Jr./Sr. High School have been evacuated. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Town Emergency Operation Centre is on standby.
