Description: Alberta Emergency Alert- River Ice Advisory for Breakup. Cancelled
The ice advisory for breakup of the Peace River at the Town of Peace River has ended.
The ice front passed downstream of the DMI bridge on March 16, and was last observed at km 420 on March 17 at 11:30 MST. This location is 24 km downstream of the Town of Peace River. The ice front is expected to continue its steady retreat downstream.
