Minister Grant Hunter will attend Climate Week NYC from Sept. 21 to 25 to showcase how Alberta is reducing emissions while growing its economy and producing the energy the world needs. He will participate in meetings and events focused on emissions reduction, technology, energy innovation and investment, highlighting Alberta’s leadership in carbon capture, methane reduction and other solutions that are lowering emissions, attracting investment and supporting a competitive energy sector.

Minister Hunter will meet with government representatives, industry leaders, investors and international organizations to discuss opportunities for collaboration and investment while sharing Alberta’s experience and expertise. These discussions will strengthen strategic relationships and support Alberta’s work to attract investment and advance innovation.

Minister Hunter will travel with one staff member and three department staff.
