“For too long, the simplest services Albertans depend on were weighed down by excessive paperwork, long wait times and outdated rules that no longer reflect how we live, work and do business today.
“Since 2019, our government has delivered real, measurable results that make services faster, simpler, more efficient and more responsive to the needs of Albertans and businesses.
“We’ve eliminated nearly 220,000 bureaucratic burdens, saving Albertans and businesses over $3 billion. That’s time and money back for families, and resources businesses can reinvest in their operations and communities.
“With our nation-leading red tape reduction initiative and Automatic Yes Toolkit, businesses that play by the rules can start, expand or invest with confidence. So far, the toolkit has reduced wait times for 25 per cent of the permits our government issues.
“That means faster first sales, quicker expansion into new communities and greater certainty for investors. Automatic Yes shows why Alberta is the best place in Canada to do business by replacing unnecessary permits with clear rules and firm timelines that keep government accountable.
“And we’re not stopping there. We’re improving access to grants, cutting red tape across government and helping thousands of Albertans access better and faster services.
“Red tape reduction is about delivering smarter services for everyone. We’ve made great progress, and the best is still ahead.”
