Minister Schow will lead a delegation of more than 70 Alberta oil and gas companies and organizations to join Premier Danielle Smith at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC) 2025 from Nov. 6 to 9.

ADIPEC is the world’s largest energy industry exhibition and conference, drawing participation from more than 2,200 organizations across the global energy ecosystem. Alberta’s strong presence at the conference provides a platform to showcase Alberta’s energy products, while reinforcing the province’s reputation as a reliable, high-quality trade partner with a significant role to play in establishing global energy security.

“The United Arab Emirates is a key trading partner for Alberta, with strong ties and exciting opportunities for collaboration in innovation and economic growth. I’m proud to showcase Alberta’s world-class companies and explore new ways to advance our shared interests.”

Joseph Schow, Minister of Jobs, Economy, Trade and Immigration

While in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Minister Schow will participate in roundtables and bilateral meetings with organizations, investors and government officials. Discussions will focus on a variety of sectors, including energy, agriculture, life sciences, advanced manufacturing and aviation.

Through a highly skilled workforce, low corporate taxes, and a government focused on addressing business killing red tape, Alberta is growing its presence on the world stage. Investors from around the world can benefit from what Alberta has to offer.

Government-led trade missions help Alberta companies and organizations connect with potential buyers, partners and investors to promote their products and expand Alberta’s exports.

Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
