This meeting is an important forum for elected legislators from 14 energy-producing states in the U.S., as well as Alberta and Saskatchewan, to maintain connections and learn more about energy issues across their states and provinces.
Promoting Alberta’s energy sector, including the important role Alberta plays in North American energy security, will be a key focus for MLA Getson as he participates in meetings and sessions in Anchorage. MLA Getson will also advocate for the need to continue to protect trade relationships to increase prosperity for Alberta and the United States.
“I’m proud to share Alberta’s story with our American partners. Alberta families and businesses work hard to keep energy flowing, and that benefits people on both sides of the border. These meetings are about strengthening those relationships, finding common ground and showing that Alberta can be counted on as a reliable, responsible energy partner.”
Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
